No doubt there are some people who did. No doubt there are some people who voted against him on a near jerk basis as well. I would simply advise looking beyond that to the folk who did have intelligent reasons behind their choice, and figure out what those reasons ARE.

It wouldn't be impossible to comprehend someone making a smart, informed decision. However that isn't what took place. Like I said, Obama has zero experience, etc... I think people blindly voted for this idiot.

I applaud Powell's openmindedness. Some Americans are becoming more and more narrow minded in their views, not listening to anyone that goes contrary to their opinions.
What did Powell say about MCCAIN: "unsure, doesnt have the complete grasp of the problems of the economy."
What did Powell say about OBAMA: "has a depth of knowledge and intellectural curiosity and ready to be President on day one."

Powell got screwed by the Bush War of Lies Machine and finally said enough is enough.

Anyone who thinks things will be different with McCain is fooling themselves. Just look who is running John's campaign? The same guys that ran the sleazy Bush/Rove efforts.
McCain has lost our respect. Powell is a true hero who actually puts country first.
