Srikanth Eladasari Benaras Tabla Solo Part 1

Sri Jajvalya Shukla of Ahmedabad, India composed and assigned this tabla solo material to Srikant in August 2009 when Srikant did a 2 week Tabla intensive of 9 hours a day and learnt to play the Benaras or Banaras Gharana of tabla from Mr. Shukla. Upon returning to USA, Srikanth worked on many aspects of the tabla solo under the guidance of Kalyan Pathak where Mr. Pathak helped him with memorization, transitions and in developing of thematic material that Mr. Shukla wanted in the tabla solo.
