Gigabyte P55-UD4P - i7 860 overclock #2

Part 2 of me mildly overclocking my P55-UD4P and core i7 860 CPU. Please don't touch your BIOS if you don't know what you're doing. I am not an expert and don't claim to be one. This is just general information. Use it how you will. This is just one way to do it. I don't claim it's the best way. I have primed it and it's stable. I am waiting for a better cooler for a higher overclock. I have primed 3.8Ghz with this method for 12 hours.

@5m4dr Not all board have the same features. You would need to search for your model and go from there. Good luck

Out of Youtube your Gigabyte P55, You have the best and working Overclock. Your Method Helped me a lot my Overclock. 3.50 GHz and stable for 24 hours :)

Does your process works the same way for the Asus Motherboard?

@cgisoul The principles are the same on any board but an ASUS board may have a different BIOS.

What would you say a safe range is for the 860? I'm idling just under 50 but under a load I've been in the upper 70's I believe.
