I've lived many years in SL, never seen any discrimination close to genocide. I had many Tamil friends, studied, hang around, had fun together.

The "Genocide" the Tamil diaspora is talking about in Canada is totally unacceptable and based on nothing. Tell me 1 by 1 what discrimination u have in SL and I will answer to all of them with proof that there's nothing like that.

First of all, I never told "our government" so please refer to it as SL Government. I don't like the feeling that I'm talking for the government, I just want to be in the middle and analyze.

Next, media is never "banned" in the war zone. I've seen videos where foreign journalists are taken to almost close to the war zone and sometimes from helicopters. Its a war zone, nothing can be assured. Last thing SL Gov want is a dead foreign journalist. So they're not letting journalists to go easily.

If journalists are allowed in the war-zone and something happens to them, the international community will blame Sri Lanka for less security. Its a WAR-ZONE for god's sake! not a universal studios show time for journalists!

IMPORTANT: You say a genocide is happening in Sri Lanka against Tamils. How did you fly to Canada without being killed through the only International Airport in Colombo which is in Southern part where you claim "GENOCIDE" is happening??

BTW Canada should give away one of their provinces to tamil ppl, how about that for a change? Anyway that will happen in another 100 years time for sure. One other problem with tamil pests is that they have this inferiority complex; thinking that they are one of the largest communities in the world whom have got no land for themselves to rule as they wish...that's bad luck guys! We ,Sri lankans, can't help with that.
