I consider this the one worth-a-shit moment Chris Simon ever spent in the NHL. Ryan Hollweg was the dirtiest player in the past decade, I have never seen one guy board so many players and still get contracts from dumb ass GMs. Wish Simon had broken his face in and helped him get out of the league sooner, was a shame Hollweg came away from this without injury.

And you know what, you see the entire problem with the Rangers organization right here. With the exception of Orr, nobody seems too interested in what happened or even pissed. I watch today's Rangers and the entire NHL gleefully barrels over Lundqvist with no fear of any retribution whatsoever. Thank heavens I don't root for that team

it has nothing to do with being a pussy its called respect for the sport. i love nothing better than to see richards almost knock of someone's head off as he skates in the neutral zone with his head down..if you don't crack down on from behind hits like this you will deter players from digging in the offensive corners, taking even more away from hard tight play...sorry you feel the sport is too pussy...i guess it depends on how much "pussiness" you are willing to compromise for some integrity

yeah in the 90's players could definitely make that hit penalty free. in the 90's craig mctavish skated around without a bucket. just cause it was permitted doesnt make it right. players in this day in age are stronger and faster. that's just fact. hollweg is cheap and dirty, he loves to take advantage of players with their face on the glass..

That's what I got mad about. The Islanders fans are so classless. They only have their heads stuck up the Rangers ass. That's all they ever talk about. Ill joke around about the Islanders and they will say " OH Rangers suck...." and I will be like "uhm not a Rangers fan thanks" and they stand there dead silent and aint got shit to say.
