Alright, I can make an honest judgement here.

I have been in BOTH bands.

I love my NCHS band.

RHS plays the same music, the same routines of follow the leader in feild shows.

We work hard to play music that RHS couldn't even play in concert season.

I love my NCHS family.

The music y'all play is too easy. Why don't you play something more challenging and play it good. I'd rather watch the richwood lumberjack express than you guys. They actually practice and do the best they can...

I graduated from NCHS in 83. One of these days, it just won't matter as much to you as it does now. :)

quality not quantity.

id take a small band that plays hard music, gets a perfect score of THREE ONES at ratings, marches complex drill, and consistently places at band competitions but still has respect and cheers for other bands

over a big band that plays the same middle school level songs every year, walks instead of marches, does basically the same simple drill every year, and goes to 1 or 2 band competitions and then doesnt have the respect to stay and watch other bands

i would like to see a certain band play high school level music. would a certian band like to take a stab at real music?

and might i remind you that members of a certain band had no business bashing a certain other band by commenting here? this video has NOTHING to do with you.

We work so hard for so long to be put down by other people. We're just now starting to convince Nicholas County that their high shool actuall has a band worth listening to. We also work extremely hard during concert season. That's why we bring home superior ratings from ALL of the ratings festival judges.

Okay, well. I am a person who has been in BOTH bands, My little sister ins in RICHWOOD band. I know Hawaiian warchant, and NCHS plays the same difficulty music. People need to get over the rivalry and realize both bands work just as hard. IT would be a lot easier for everyone to stop this, or just be hush about it.
