Ramayan is a tale for every generation. It is multi-layered, multi-faceted, multi-dimensional... and this new daily version of the timeless classic has been interpreted to cater to the taste of a shining, modern India. Television is all about great stories well told, and for us, Ramayan is India's greatest story ever and we hope to re-tell it in a compelling, entertaining manner.

    yay @ happiness in ayohda!!

  • @Sikhindu they had cows in england?!?!?!?!? WOW!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha jk yes cows was a symbol of wealth too so maybe that's why millk was so 'important', and i've heard that 'nurion maidens' (or something like that) would bathe in milk for beauty so they could succeed in luring people places or seducing people to get what the want hahaha all of a sudden milk became interesting! hahaha

Well we had this story that Queen Elizabeth bathes in milk :) I doubt it was true though. I think it's also a show of oppulence, that one is so rich that they can afford to bathe in food like that. Lord Delamere once claimed he could put milk through the water pipes in Nairobi, that's how rich he said he was.

  • @Sikhindu any time i think they did that even in egypt actually a lot of places, i guess it was famous for good skin or complexion......or something like that (also almost like royalty or importance symbol)

  • @ADMJCXNK97fan

    Aha, thanks for explaining.

  • @Sikhindu it's some kind of tradition.........they bathe baby krishna in that too!

  • Was that milk they were washing him with at some point?
