  • Like Jon Anderson & Yes... his voice was often, they claimed, just one more element in the band's overall sound. ... Wish the soprano had been considered similarly ... ie, that she'd have been 'backgrounded' quite a bit.

    Someone recommended this Ravel piece but...guess i just don't like "cultured howling!" -Rock singers (Janis Joplin... and "Florence and the ...irritated" excepted) tend, I think, to howl a good deal better. - (I'll put my best asbestos suit on now!)
