@arubamusic Thank you very much for crediting Belasco's land of origin as Trinidad and not Venezuela.
I'm newly "converted" to recognizing and appreciting the work of Caribbean pioneers in music composition - as well as in other fields.
Belasco was indeed born in Trinidad, and - though much of his work is in the genre of "The Venezulain Waltz" - he himself quite obviously always identified with Trinidad. See my comment below for some related links etc.

Zij is opgeleid door dhr Julian B Coco.
Veel van zijn filosofieën op muziek zijn door haar uitgedragen aan een enorme gemeenschap van muzikanten in midden Nederland en verder. Met warmte en bezieling te werk gaan met een groep en het individu, transparantie en flexibiliteit in de lesmethoden.
We danken hen voor al het fantastische dat zij voor ons hebben gedaan. Op pad met hen voor voor altijd!
