Kresta Archives

The fawning attitude of the press this election cycle was unprecedented, openly admitted, and overwhelming. The open bias indicated that Barak Obama's election was largely ensured. The messianic overtones (Oprah's reference to him as "The One") deserves satire. Al Kresta has covered 6 presidential elections and says he has never seen the press so blatantly favor a candidate. This has been a sad chapter in the history of journalism in America which is begging to be mocked. We oblige.

  • Talk Radio does not claim objectivity or neutrality. It is inherently advocacy, opinion, and infotainment. We are talking about the major news networks and print journalists who were (admittedly) in the tank for Obama. Read the Washington Post Ombudsman's article this weekend entitled "An Obama Tilt in Campaign Coverage."

  • @achalmers, I'm not sure what your point is about Robert Murdoch being a member of the Council of Foreign Affairs. All I am saying is that when you watch the MSM channels, you are getting a very left slanted view of the issues. Regardless of who owns Fox news or what organization he belongs to, the hard evidence of omitted facts on the MSM news can be found on Fox, et al.

  • @jumpnjil So true.. But you know what they are saying about them.. I wish that everyone that hears things they bad about talk shows and Fox.. would take real time to watch for just 2 week.. they would see the truth, not lies.. I like to see things for my self..read for my self.. Think for my self.. all should do the same..

  • @genieforsyth So true.. they do not like it when the shoe is on the other foot,,.. they say rt now no one cares.. but they are so wrong.. the libs do not care Rt now..

  • @jumpnjil And Fox News is owned by Rupert Murdoch who is a Council on Foreign Relations member. It's a false left vs. right paradigm. Many people have fallen for it. Obviously you have too.

  • keith overbite and chris matthews want to have a threesome with obonghole!!

  • ...what the hell does "loose" mean?... are all you people trying to spell "lose" as in "I hate to lose the big game"? No wonder they say We the People are a bunch of dumb fucks.

  • That 'landslide', as you call it, will be reversed in 2010 since liberal-democrates have shown their inability to govern with any type of logic. Instead, they rely on the 'Bush' and 'Race' cards to mask bad policy. Unfortunately, this hand has been overplayed too early in the game.

  • I'm going to guess you don't listen to any of those talk show hosts; they all disperse facts that Olbermann and the NYT don't think you need to know. But Olbermann isn't on the radio. On the radio (Air America) were brain trusts like Janeanne Garafalo and Al Franken. Janeanne shoulda run for Senate, huh? Is Air America still alive somewhere?

Republicans WERE elected out in the last election, mainly because they were NOT conservatives. There will be a conservative or two running in '10.

  • 90% of talk radio is conservative because most people won't turn on their radio to hear the insane rants of left-wing radio. Talk radio is pretty much the only place to get the facts that Chris Matthews thinks you don't need to know.

Still, by having the government help pay for their existence, NPR (NOT conservative) stays on the air, with the fact that they don't obviously accept advertising dollars adding to their credibility. THEIR advertisers are lauded for "supporting" NPR. HA!!!!!!
