Really I never knew meaningless name-calling and being closed minded was a sign of intelligence and if the mind had nothing to with healing there would be no placebo effect which by the way was documented by Britsh medical community

I am a physician and I think the mind has very little to do with it. I've seen hopeless cancer patients survive and "fighters" die quickly (and vice versa).

These people are amongst the poorest in the world. They have no formal education and their healing practices have been passed down for generations. Some ignorant individuals would rather crap on their belief system instead of researching their faith . Many people do very well without modern medicine.
