Creating a Windows Server 2003 Virtual Machine

This is a tutorial that I had to complete for one of my courses at Florida State. It demonstrates how to create and configure a Windows Server 2003 virtual machine using VMware Workstation. It also shows how to interact with the virtual machine. It however does NOT show you how to install Windows Server 2003. It merely shows you how to prepare the virtual machine for the install.

This is tutorial mostly for web developers, system administrators, and tech-enthusiasts. As such I assume most viewers will have a good amount of technical knowledge. This video could be a bit to advanced for some viewers.

For the record, I did this as a class assignment on probably 4 hours of sleep in 3 days. I worked two jobs and went to school full time and I had so much crap going on that I was pretty exhausted when doing the intro part (which I still hate). I promise everyone I don't sound this robotic in person.

The video did receive an A and I graduated in August, Magna Cum Laude from Florida State with my B.S. in IT. So think what you want, but I thought I did a pretty good job under the circumstances.

To his defense, he did leave a disclaimer in the uploader comments as to the circumstances surrounding the time crunch on making this video.

Apparently many of you don't know what its like to work 12 hours and turn around to prepare for class presentations for the next day. Lets just say sleep is something you don't see much of and stimulants are your best friend during the semester months. At the end of last fall I told everyone at work I was taking a week vacation but I actually slept 3 days

@bakkidinho11 get out of the window (right ctrl) then click on the "machine" tab at the upper left. select "insert ctrl+alt+del"
