  • there aint an english accent no matter where you are in england you will hear a different accent

  • @Siixy66 Pronunciation? LOL Are you serious? Your pronunciation is terrible.

You say words like 'duty' and 'butter' as 'doody' and 'budder'. You replace all the words with 't's in them with 'd's. And loads of other words like 'garage', you guys say 'gararrge' which just sounds retarded

  • Divided by the language and we also get more of the Sun shining, thank God!

  • @ThePatrickUK Amen to that.

  • Divided by a common language, and a great big fucking ocean thank Christ!

  • WHY DO 'BRITS' SPEAK SO STRANGELY!!? oh please, it's the ENGLISH language. Not the american language. We had it first, your the ones that speak strangely. Not us.

  • Sorry, has this bloke actually been to Britain? Not once have I heard anyone use the term "knocking up" when talking about knocking on somebody's door or setting somebody up on a date. Also it's never used in the present tense.

  • @ttiiyy If i go for a job then i wont realy be bothered bout how i talk ( i talk more black slang ) because noone realy cares bout stuff like language accents race or anything so if we sound diffrent then it doesnt matter as long as you can get the job done

  • @ttiiyy There's a lot more than different accents in the UK. There are 7 different native languages, each totally indistinguishable from each other. There are: English Lowland Scots (Lallans) Welsh (Cymraeg) Scottish Gaelic (Gaidhlig) Manx Gaelic (Gaelg) Irish Gaelic (Gaeilge) Cornish (Kernewek) I speak 2 of these fluently and I am in the process of learning another. I am not worried that Britain isn't fully unified - It's something great about the UK that these cultures coexist and thrive
  • How can there be so many accents in Britain??? It's very strange. The US has 50 states, and most people (at least today) share the same accent.

In Britain, there are even different local dialects. Aren't you Britons worried that your nation is not unified?

I agree that sometimes it's boring that many states in America are similar, but, hey, at least when you get a job in a different state, you don't have to worry about adjusting to a different culture.

  • 71 people were british.

  • well knocking up means getting someone pregnant and the other ones ive never heard of. :/
