Self Interest and the Secret of Money

money = survival = self-interest

the polarity by which the money system exists is: either you have money, or either you dont.
in the rich parts of the world the upper class, life has become equal to the possession of money. Life is lived because of money. Life is organized and moulded in accordance with the demands and requirements of money. Life is one big worry-trip over money, because it is not available unless you choose for self-abuse. Labour in te current system is self-abuse. Schools are self-abuse. If people would for instance work under the exact same circumstances as they curently do, but without getting paid for it, the self-abuse would be obvious. The power of money: for money well put up with self-abuse and even be gratefull.
Children understand their education, through extensive schooling, is aimed towards accomodating to this life, and this is taken for granted - it is all that is known to them, it is all that has ever been presented to them.
A child sees that whenever something moves or happens, there is money involved - everything in this reality must be bought. Therefore, basically, children see that money makes things appear: only money makes things possible - money is that which creates
this is how children are brought up to become possesed by money - and clearly it is each one for themselves. see, when there exist a lack of money, the "each one for themselves" is created. In the background of everyones lives exist the constant risk: that you might end up with nohing.
Every child understands that one day every one will have to fend for themselves, but the schoolsystem cons them to believe it is merely a question of following the rules within the education path that is layed out before them and to play and go along within this as diligently as possible and then everything will turn out fine. so basically, the idea is created that there exist a place for everyone in this world, in terms of work and money. They wil have to wait untill they face the real world of money, before realizing the system holds no promisses nor any guarantees. So, because everyone is so willing to believe they belong to the group that will succeed the entire game is not questionned. but within children is implanted now a fear of 'falling out' of the system, a fear of becomming 'invalid', if their performances dont meet the expectations and criteria of succes, which are portrayed as the ONLY guarantee for succes in life. the succes they display at school will be met and rewarded with money.

The result of this is self-interest: each one will attempt to design a life for themselves, according to the rules of the system, in disregard of everyone else, that will make sure they have money. Because how else will you even survive? this is the point you apparently cannot disregard, you NEED money, wheter you like it or not, thus turning men into wolves. FIRST comes MY money, and THEN, perhaps i will consider another
as long as money is not readily available, money will allways be the FIRST point to consider, before anything else. So we are all slaves to money. Within the system there is no choice: you must DEDICATE your life, your existence, to money, because without it you are fucked.
This shows clearly how money is the highest rule in this world - we exist through money. And as long the money system remains as is, nothing in this world is able to change

  • My father, he worked in a shop you see. I asked, "we have so much food here. Why do we not give to the other countries?" Then he told me the big bosses "are selfish twats, even half of the food they threw away in a month could feed africa.

"Only morons and lazy people can't make money. I find it HILARIOUS how you're trying to pull these pigs out of a rut when it's their own fault." -- this is the comment you left me this week. You must be making money now while still aware of the problems in this world - that you need to justify inequality to the ultimate degree. Fascinating how easily one can be bought. Money can do all these things.

  • @gabrielietsanders reply from Zhakot: "Oh, no. Back then I was just very naive. Very young, and very foolish. You don't seem to understand, I like this system, it's either stay with it and live or go against it and die. Your stupid system doesn't have a modicum of a chance of working."

love will not feed you when you have no money to buy food

If you actually believed your own words - you would want to prove them to the ultimate degree - by giving away all your money - but clearly you didn't do that, because there you sit comfortably with your internet access - that's a serious double standard

    Get real

  • @gabrielietsanders your missing the point. how much money did jesus have exactly ..or his followers. how many people do you ever hear of who truly beleive there lives are fundementally happier with money.. i grew up in hard times, but i was lucky i had a family who LOVED me.as i said earlier, yes lets all have equal money, but i guarentee you this time next year there will be the rich and poor.. equal money answers nothing..and i have very little money..be rich in love and money means nothing

  • @geezer732

The opportunity to live a life one 'choose' is only here for those born on the 'good side' of the system - while half the world lives in poverty with not much of a choice - in the context of such abuse the statement 'just love' is the total acceptance of the suffering that exists as something that can never be changed - only because you are not the one suffering - that is not love - but spitefullness

    Another life wasted

  • gabriele dont waste your life wanting something that will never happen. in your mind changing the world is simple because it takes the focus from yourself. the real struggle in life is mastering ourselves, not mastering others.in doing this you just join the rest of the arrogant class who think capitalism or communism are good ideas. how about leaving people alone to live there lives the way they choose.theres too many people in this world having good ideas for everyone else. just love, simple

  • @geezer732

we say human nature can be changed with self-forgivenes and self-honesty - equal money will merely establish a foundation through which everyone will be in a position to face their own acceptances and allowancces and take responsibiliy for what they've allowed themselves to become

  • it think its a lovely idea. in practice in ten years after youd implemented this action thing would be back to something akin to what they are now. why?. because equality isnt about money its about human nature and that reflects personal wealth. some people and clever and greedy, some people are feckless and lazy, some people are mean others are over generous. some people are easily persuaded to part with there money others are downright cheats . human nature..

  • @geezer732

Jesus christ said give to your neighbor as you would like to receive - equal money for all is the practical implementation of the message of Jesus

  • @imrichyournot

that is 99% of those who have money - half the world lives in poverty - did you know that ?

Also I suggest listening to the article again - because the quote you make and your response indicates you are misunderstanding
