Final Fantasy XIII American Launch Trailer

This, of course, isn't an official launch trailer. It's a fan trailer. Made by me.

Truth is that the FFXIII trailers have thus far been awful. Sure, the game is going to be mindblowingly awesome but the trailers are sure making sure we think otherwise. So I decided to make one of my own in the "cinematic" style I like so much in videogame trailers (like the MGS4 or Mass Effect 2).

I only had about 3-4 trailers of audio and video footage to work with so it was very difficult to give a coherent idea of the game's plot (I'm not entirely sure I understand it quite yet anyway, so) but that's fine. Some of the lines of dialogue I managed to clean up (why did they have to have pop music booming in the background of all their trailers?) are just cool to listen to, so that was fine to use.

Also, I didn't want to use "Redrum" again (it's a popular trailer song), but literally it was the only song in my 2000+ track library that fit the trailer well. I might do another version with a different song, if I'm not lazy and forget about it.

Anyway, enjoy. I actually liked the final product a lot if not for some minor stuff that couldn't be helped. And remember to buy Final Fantasy XIII on March 9th because it will positively rock balls. Oh and, if this trailer does catch on, someone cast a spell on it so it doesn't attract the retarded "36' VERSHUN IS BETTER THAN PS3 LAMENES ROFLOL!!!1" (when everyone knows the PS3 version will be much better lol).

Also, if anyone catches what trailer this one was emulating in style, gets a cookie.
