a simple jacobs ladder streight and long made out of wire from the input of the flyback transformer i used for the HV source. i burnt the wire to get rid of the insulation, then linked the ends to rings from 5L pet bottles. it is 1.8m long and the spark goes between 1.4 and 1.7m. the source is iame as the 1 prezented in my "lightning bulb" video.

  • but the arcs with the diode and cap like an zvs arc!;)

  • use a mmc capacitor and also a clap diode is necicery

  • Try with a 0.47uF capacitor across the emitter and the colector and a 18V input. Results:

    -Arcs are very long!(x2)

    -Very hot arc(x4)

-No original modifications!(put the capacitor across the E and the C) enjoy!!
