"A Load of Rubbish" is a film about recycling made for Sydney Opera House staff. (Music: "Peter & the Wolf" by Sergei Prokofiev / SBS Youth Orchestra conducted by Matthew Krel). The House implemented new recycling bins across all the offices and back of house areas in late 2009. As part of the roll out, this is a short film we made to show Sydney Opera House staff that we've all a role to play in minimising the waste sent to landfill — through reducing, re-using and recycling.
To get staff to 'think' before they 'throw out', we took a journey to discover what happens to our rubbish and recycling once it's put in the right bin.
