Sure, Matt coulda been in there, but Matt is very small character in the Death Note universe.
He had 3 speaking roles in the manga, and only 2 of which were even featured in the anime.
He is such a small character, that it confuses me why he is so popular among the female fan base.
I mean, all he did was shoot a smoke bomb with a HAIR DRYER looking then,
get 30 seconds of Badd-Assity, then go down in a flurry of bullets.
