1. If Restoring To 4.2.1 Open Redsn0w And Select The Official Firmware, Then Deselect ALL Options And Only Check "Just Enter Pwned DFU Mode Right Now"

2. Once Finished, Open iTunes And Hold Shift Or Option On Mac And Left Click Restore In iTunes, Then Select The 4.2.1 Custom Restore File For 3G

3. Open Cydia And Install Ultrasn0w To Unlock

4. Insert Sim Card and Enjoy

5. Rate, Comment, and Subscribe

  • yo bro for my iphone when the restore is done it come back to restore error in itunes

  • @nitu191 I had a problem like that last night, restart your laptop or pc, and restart your iDevice.

  • @GammaBlade Will only work if you put your iPhone 3G on the ipad baseband, If did not work the first time, do it twice more, If still not working, I suggest acquiring a new iPhone.

  • @donellwashere1 This is weird but I was doing this all night yesterday and about 4 hours today and finally got it to work. I switched from Mac and PC trying to get it to work. For some reason it finally wanted to load instead of freeze and return to recovery mode.

  • @GammaBlade Oh eay I understand how that happened, that same issue occurred with me.

  • this didnt work so i turned my iPhone off and opened iTunes then i held the home button and pluged in to itunes until the itunes sign appeared on my iphone. then i did custom restore

  • @donellwashere1 If you could explain, that would be nice. Cause I just randomly switched to my Mac and did the restore on it with the custom firmware.
