Dr. Guinier exposes the history of discrimination & its ramifications. Her study sheds light on a major flaw in our education system. The example she provided of the Miner’s Canary as a signal of what is actually affecting us all. As she pointed to the fact that we all suffer eventually from what we see as an issue with a particular group, race or class. There is no clearer example of this than our countries recent economic downturn.
