This video will show you how to remove the replace your license plate lights on a BMW E46 M3. This should be the same for all E46 coupes.

1. locate license plate light covers.
2. Grab flat head screwdriver and pop out the cover by placing the tip of the screwdriver into the side of the license plate light cover.
3. Remove bulb and replace with SMD LED bulb.
4. replace the license plate covers and look at the amazing light!
