your front foot isn't involved at all in this trick, it's all in the pop of your board. You basically pop it very hard off the toe edge of your back foot. it helps to think of it as kind of a scoop with your back foot. you can practice this while you're not even standing on your board, you basically stand behind your board and just try to pop it off the tail and make it flip in the direction of your pop. once you have the feel of it, getting on your board and doing it is just the next step.
