All animals deserve protection from needless cruelty and suffering
All animals should have the freedom to walk, run, swim, and play
Even though the arc of history is long, it bends towards justice
No one is free when others are oppressed
We can do better
Our society should protect the weakest and most vulnerable
Might doesn't make right
It's our moral obligation to prevent cruelty
Farm animals deserve the same consideration as our dogs and cats
Eating meat supports needless violence
If animals could talk, they would thank a vegetarian
It's wrong to cram animals into cages for their entire lives
There is no such thing as "humane" slaughter
The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it treats its animals
No animal should suffer or die for my breakfast, lunch, or dinner
If slaughterhouses had glass walls everyone would be a vegetarian
We have the power to choose kindness over cruelty
When it comes to suffering, animals are our equals
Our food choices have the power to change the world for the better
They value their lives and freedom like we value ours
Animal rights is a social justice issue
Because it's up to us

Want to spend my life crammed in a cage
Eat my friends
Eat my dog
Steal a child away from his mother, like they do to dairy cows and their babies
Castrate piglets without painkillers
Sear off a birds beak to save a little cash
Lock a pig in a stall so small that she couldn't turn around for nearly her entire life
I wouldn't pay someone to do all these things on my behalf, not in good conscience
Therefore

Speak out against oppression, even if my voice shakes while I do it
Lend a helping hand
Be the change I want to see in the world
Hand out a leaflet
Inspire others
Speak the truth, from a place of respect and integrity
Be forward-thinking
Never give up
Treat others the way I want to be treated
Make food choices that will respect animals, the earth, and my health
Live in line with my values, even when I'm hungry

Changing the world
Exposing animal exploitation
Preventing needless suffering
Giving a voice to the voiceless
Saving lives
Building a kinder tomorrow for all beings

  • sigh vegan propaganda some humans need to eat meat and what about people who live in climates where they can't grow crops they have to have veggies shipped in and use gas.

  • @babecat2000 Are you one of those who lives in such a climate? Are you an Inuit or a bushman? This video is aimed at people who CAN make better choices... Certainly, if someone passes a grocery store en-route to go "hunting"... Then there ARE other choices. If you live within 20 minutes of a super center (which 90% of the U.S. does) - Then you have CHOICES. As it is now... We do ship flesh into those places that can't grow veggies... You're point is moot, but thanks anyway. ;)

  • @VeganTruth & beaelliott Just curious, what are your views on animal abortion? I believe that all animals should be treated with respect.

  • @freetruth80 Views on animal abortion? Please specify... Is the animal at risk? Is the litter or "unborn" at risk? What is the prognosis of a full and healthy life for either the mother or babies she will birth? I'm sure you'll agree, there are lots of factors to consider before qualifying what true "respect" would actually mean...

  • being a vegetarian is not the solution to the atrocities caused to non-human animals. Vegetarianism is not the same as veganism. Go vegan, not vegetarian.

  • @VeganTruth Thank you for your wisdom VeganTruth... I believe if you listen to this video it mentions the word "vegan" four times... It also says that it's not right to steal an infant calf away from his mother... And makes negative implications regarding "egg" industry practices. I don't find anything mis-aligned to my beliefs or ethics regarding the just treatment due to nonhumans. I understand your issue with the word "vegetarianism" used twice vs "vegan" and it is duly noted - Thanks.
