  • A beautiful scene at 1.30. Cotswalds? Anyway, the most romantic view of our green and pleasant land that I've seen in a long time.

  • @kinkyplunk Yes, that picture is of the small village called Castle Combe in Wiltshire which is in the Cotswolds.

  • I played this in my marching band, Jupiter. Phenominal peice, love it. Gotta have great songs for great nations.

  • We sing this every year on rememberance sunday- it fills me with pride, sadness and always makes me weep- I am not ashamed of this- I am a proud ex serviceman who weeps at the sacrifice made yesterday, today and tommorrow by service personel who give their lives or suffer terrible injuries ,physical and mental in the name of democracy and peace- GOD SAVE THE QUEEN

  • Oh how I wish this could be the national anthem!

  • brilliance shear brilliance

  • So very beautiful. America has no better friend than England. May we always be so blessed as to have you as friends and as an ally.

  • this hymn sums up for me what my uncles went through during WWII, they were just youngsters at the time, but were prepared to give up their lives so that future generations could live in a free world. It a shame that some of the youth today do not appreciate the freedoms that they have are owed to to past generation

  • "It is not one man nor a million, but the spirit of liberty that must be preserved. The waves which dash upon the shore are, one by one, broken, but the ocean conquers nevertheless. It overwhelms the Armada, it wears out the rock. In like manner, whatever the struggle of individuals, the great cause will gather strength
