damm, he still looks like he's 35 years old...
-
@samtheman7975 agreed patrick ewing choked to much
-
@samtheman7975 I don't think you can compare a guy like Stockton to Ewing. They played completely differet positions.
The ONLY guy that you mention, that I might argue is Barkley.
Barkley was amazing. I think Barkley was underrated as a player.
Ewing was better than Malone, and Iverson. Shit man, Give Ewing Stockton as a PG and let's see how much better he would've been.
Ewing played with about 10 different PG's in 15 years, and he played with really bad teams early in his career.

@zknis20 Malone, Barkley, Baylor, Stockton, Iverson. But to say Reggie Miller is better than Ewing is absurd. Ewing is just overrated. Wasn't an exceptional rebounder for his size, lacked the explosiveness he had in college.
-
@samtheman7975 HELL no, NO players better than Ewing without ring
-
@zknix20 players that are better than ewing without a ring:
barkley, stockton, malone, iverson,
-
Warriors got jobbed..worst record and got 5 or x6 ...did get Chris mullin tho..
-
@zknix20 never in life!!! he choked like hell. and he isnt on the same level than BARKLEY, MALONE, REGGIE MILLER, etc.

Many believe the Knicks' winning of the Patrick Ewing sweepstakes in 1985 was fixed.

Eager to make the franchise a winner, commissioner Stern allegedly rigged the lottery so the Knicks would end up with No. 1 draft pick. The leading theories are that the envelope with the Knicks' logo in it was either chilled or creased so that Stern could identify it in the drum amongst the other envelopes.Knicks over the last quarter-century, it didn't quite work. Ewing's Knicks reached the Finals on two occasions but never won it all
"I'd like to thank David Stern for rigging the '85 draft."
