His father was a British citizen and never became an American citizen, tho it would not have made any difference if he did, according to the Constitution. We need to make darn sure everything is on the up & up or else the other powers of the world can come in and declare all kinds of bad news for us, not to mention if some of the laws regarding refinancing of one's home becomes null or void then there are so many folks deep in trouble & or thrown out of their homes! Many, many things can be gone back on and declared null. It is a nightmare to think about.
