@catsblood15 Actually she didn't commit suicide. Her death was the result of the condition in the sea witch's spell that if the prince chose to marry some one else, The Little Mermaid would die the morning after the wedding.

This is such a rip-off of Disney's version of the Little Mermaid. The entire storyline is borrowed from Disney's storyline, they borrowed the same type of shots, the same dialogue, even Ariels' song. All they did was change the mermaid's hair color and a few other things. The makers of this movie should have done a more creative version of this and brought something different to the table.
