  • I have always been in awe of Ms. Blythe's voice. She is an American treasure!

  • Actually, Stephanie Blythe is one of the active singers today, regularly starring at the Met, etc. It is true that her figure may limit her roles at some houses (she has sung Carmen, but not at the Met), but in the end the voice and acting take precedence even in this day.

She is the best in this role I have heard sing the heyday of Marilyn Horne (who also had weight issues).

  • this is soooo beautiful! brava!

  • she´s beautiful, georgeous and HOT! (sorry about the non-musical comment)

  • What an amazing voice. I could listen to her all day and never grow tired of it.

  • This is impressive. I 've seen Blythe as Cornelia in Giulio Cesare and Eduige in Rodelinda at the Metropolitan Opera and on both occasions I thought she was a singer of fine voice, excellent technique and good starge presence. One of the best on today's stage.

  • I saw her in Seattle Opera's production of Italian Girl, it was amazing!

  • It really is. Danielle de Niese was lovely as well, of course, but there was nothing quite like her rendition of "Che faro senza Euridice"...took my breath away.

  • I saw her today in Orfeo ed Euridice also and thought she was outstanding. Her voice is truly exceptional.

  • I saw her today in Orfeo ed Euridice (HD Live Metopera). The reviewer was so right. She was astonishing indeed.
