This is me just goofing around with some B minor blues backing track off YouTube. It was fun to jam to, so I figured I'd record some improv and see what happened. It's got a lot of mistakes and all, but I'm kind of new to the whole blues thing. All of the blues purists out there are surely going to hate this video because I venture far outside the pentatonic blues scale for most of the video but thats cool. Ha. Hope you enjoy listening to me flail about aimlessly hoping for the right notes! The guitar in the video is a Carvin ST300. Amp and pedals used for these tones: Mesa Triaxis preamp, Mesa 2:90 power amp, TC Electronic G System delay and reverb, Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone Limited Edition Compressor, and a TC Electronic Nova Drive. The Triaxis is on a clean channel with the nova drive providing the dirt. If you want to hear more of my music check out www.reverbnation.com/jeremyjmusic

  • Is the G system in the 4 cable method? Sounds great! Are you using any noise gates

  • @JayDeeSG Yes. It's in the 4 cable method. I may have used a little bit of the noise gate on the G System for this preset, but not much since there wasn't a ton of gain used. Thanks for listening!

  • good how are you, I greet you from Argentina, I wanted to know whether they set the table with g Triaxis boogie system, to change channels with the system of Triaxis g?

I appreciate if you give me some information.

others say it works best with the g force? be so? '

    thank you very much.

    pablo.

  • @ototel I'm not exactly understanding what you are asking, but I'll try to explain. I was using the TC Electronic G System to provide the effects by putting the Mesa Triaxis in the Insert Loop of the G System. The G System can change the channels on the Triaxis and other midi equipment using it's midi output. It worked great. I've used the G Force before and it was fantastic as well. You could use the G system and G force in the same rig, but that would be overkill probably. Hope this helps!!

  • very nice, sounds like Bonamassa

  • @MahatmaAndy10101 Thanks man. I haven't really heard much of his stuff, but I hear he's pretty good so I'll take that as a compliment. ha.
