@giovanni010374 no, non è completamente sbagliata, dovresti solo sostituire ".... to the age of three years old" con "..... at the age of three" (senza "years old")

ma non è vero che dopo there are o there is ve sempre messo any e some...

@mastroalen A meno che non si vuole indicare la presenza di qualcosa di specifico o di ben definito nella quantità (There is your cat on my tree - c'è il tuo gatto sul mio albero -; There are seven apples on the table - ci sono sette mele sulla tavola) il più delle volte dopo there is o there are si pone un aggettivo indefinito, tra questi i più usati sono "some" ed "any".

@PeppsTwo in questo caso devi ricorrere ad una espressione particolare (idiomatica) che sarebbe "they are no good for you".....puoi anche dire "they are no good for your health"...prego :)

Nelle domande affermative con like si usa some?

esempio: I’d like some coke, and you? We’ve got any good news to tell you Would you like some ice-cream?
