agreed, George was doin his stuff way before Bill made the scene, plus is it not possible that two guys who thought very much alike to think the same things are funny and put them in there act?
if you watch the two they have some small amounts of similar material, but they have two very different styles and crowds. Note that Bill was a lot more popular out of the states while Denis appealed more the American crowd

@JoshuaLuty George Carlin did a segment about war and how it relates to self esteem like Hicks did in this performance, part 2/8. I think both of their material was original.

Denis Leary stole. Hicks was much more original. Robert Klein, not on Ytube is better than Carlin ON RECORDS.
