Not only did they ruin Spider-man as a character, the book was so awful there's not credibility to it. They make gimmick after gimmick and waste the last big thing you can do with Spider-man, revealing his identity to the world, then do that story! THen it's a year of 'Aunt May is going to die' Oh wait, no were ending the story and nobody knows anything.

Marvel writers could retcon it and say Spider-Man was mind controlled in sleeping with Black Cat. i didnt acutally buy the writing. it was dogshit. Shit DogPool wouldnt cough up.

When it comes to ASM #606 seeing Black Cat as someone who raped Spider-Man would be easier to deal with than this shit of Brand New Day.
