I really like the lower 3rds and how they move a little. And the fact they are using a automation system like us here in chicago, but they did so much better with the transition!
Well... that's the easiest way to include the entire market. You can't call the show "Today in Miami." The market isn't like a New York or DC, where just saying the one city works. SoFla has TWO major cities. The same rule applies to their slogan being South Florida's News Leader.

Key West is a part of the SoFlo market too. Just saying Miami or Ft Lauderdale would be too specific for the region

Yes, but other markets with two cities do it all the time... KTVT in DFW does it nicely.
