Boston (Viola - Guitar Duet Cover)

I previously recorded this with just a solo acoustic guitar (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rci-0AsBvzo), and dedicated that performance to my best friend and grand master violinist, Andrew Beer, who absolutely abhors the city where no one knows your name.

Well, as luck would have it, he's back in town for Christmas, so I thought it would be interesting if we could play this song, but substituting the piano with the violin. Andrew, being the stuck-up artiste that he fancies himself, decided that the viola would sound better. And it did, I think.

So after a couple jam sessions, and a few more snide remarks about Boston from Andrew, we give you this. Enjoy!

Wow at first I was skeptical about the vla guy... thought he was gonna mess up (i play vla myself..) because usually covers of songs by vla arent very good... like, the ppl are inexperienced. but i must say.... this guy. this guy knows how to get it done.
