I had the same thing happen! However, is did take a small drill bit and drill the piece out! Scary, yes. But I was planning on replacing the part anyway. Funny thing is it now works without replacement!!!
I did this before and it did'nt work so i got a new ipod,and it happened again so no,dont try this......oh and i cant hear shit so feck you

I got an auxiliary cable stuck in my iphone! I didn't even need to use the glue, I just stuck the piece of the bic pen in and made sure that it was super tight and then it came out!! Thank you for the idea!
