2)Sign in
3)Go to your account
4)Go to update billing information
5)Put 2850 W Columbus Ave, Chicago, IL 60652 as your address in the correct fields.
6)Save
7)There should be a (change) link under ON.
8)Click it and press continue 3 times and its off.

@KiinGofQueens it simply means that the subscription you have purchased through credit/debit card will not be automatically updated so it won't purchase another subscription automatically after yours has ran out.

Even if autorenewal is OFF they will still charge your credit card, even if it has expired information! I had to block xbox from my card because they wouldn't let me delete it. Now they tried to charge it another 12 months but got denied....so in response they suspended my account. I do have a 12 month code now but can't use it bc my account is somehow overdue. Will be calling AGAIN today to see if they will accept the code as they did not honor it yesterday. Poor business practices!

You have to do none of this. All you have to do to turn off is:

1. Go to xbox.com (or your country)

2. Log on

3. Go to 'My Account'

4. Right in the middle of the screen you should see the Xbox Live logo, below it, it should say 'Automatic Renewal: On'. Press 'Change' next to it

5. Follow the step by step instructions and your automatic renewal should be off
