Pitchfork Eye

Once upon a time, there was a metal band in my hometown, and they were called "Malicious Intent", but they had to change it to "All for Nothing" after some nerds in Kansas or something threatened legal action.
Anyway, the singer, J.D. Smallridge wrote these lyrics, and told me once that I could cover any of their songs I wanted. So I put his bleak Death Metal lyrics to my own Bluesy riff.

The lyric, "The hand that holds the whip, the whip that beats the hide, the eyes that see the pain, are the eyes that scream for more." was the reason I picked it.

They were such a favorite band. Seeing them play all ages shows at the Red Barn in Salem was always the best.

i like it . though mabey lacking a hook of sorts kind of runs together . also liked lighting effect.

Yeah, it definitely rides on one riff. It's basically just a blues jam. My songwriting style can be pretty minimalist at times.

"The hand that holds the whip" is my favorite part, but the hook would have to be the "Never again your whipping boy", as I repeat it several times. The lyrics are as they were originally written, but my version of the music is WAY different.
