You Know I Love Your Car!

This was by far my favorite car of the weekend - the NASA-SE Hotlanta Challenge at Road Atlanta. I worked pit & grid on the driver's ed/time trial side (racers on the other side), and I saw lots and lots of awesome cars. But of course, this white 81 Porsche 911 caught my eye. The driver kindly consented to a very, very brief interview. Girl Powered indeed!

You are so sweet! One of the drivers asked me, "WHY DO YOU DO THIS?" Haha. I understand the payoff is hard to see from the driver's perspective. I do it because I love cars and racing, love being around the vroom-vroom and the drivers and crews. But personally I am earning credits so I can get out there and drive with yall! Look for me in December at RA (fingers crossed). Hey were you in a red Vette in front of me on Parade Laps Sunday by any chance? I was in a little white Porsche 911. Fun!!
