In the autumn of 2010 M-HKa presented a solo exhibition by Craigie Horsfield (1949, Great Britain). Known for his photographs, the exhibition in Antwerp featured the tapestries that he has recently developed in collaboration with a factory in West Flanders. Tapestries and photographic works reveal the interplay between these two mediums. An important development in this artists practice, the translation of photographic images into intricate woven textiles, encourages the viewer to bring a consideration of time to the work. This was Horsfield's first major museum exhibition emphasising this aspect of his practice.
