Marina Sirtis, James Doohan, and Walter Koenig on "Vicki!" - Nov. 2, 1993. Part 1 of 8.

"Vicki!" was a TV talk show hosted by actress/comedian/singer Vicki Lawrence. The show ran for 2 years, from 1993-1994. The theme of this installment was Alien Encounters.

The first two guests to be introduced were Marina Sirtis, who of course, played Deanna Troi in Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Chad Everett, who was starring in the 1994 TV movie "Official Denial".

Next up were James Doohan and Walter Koenig (Montgomery "Scotty" Scott and Pavel Chekov, respectively, from the Original Series).

The next guest was Dr. Jacques Vallee, astronomer and UFO specialist, whose character was portrayed in Steven Spielberg's "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" (Valee himself was not in the film, of course).

Featured next were two people claiming to have had real-life alien encounters, Rayna Ryan, Steve Neill.

Vicki then took questions from the audience.

Chad Everett was in a good sf TV-pilot called Star Command from some years ago. A shame that it wasn't picked up as a weekly series.
