Tospy Turvy Cake

Topsy turvy cake I made for my friends birthday. First 2 tiers are strawberry with buttercream icing. The bottom tier is marble and buttercream. Covered in fondant.This was my first attempt to make a Topsy Turvy. It was fun to make! Still in need of improvement. I made my own fondant and didn't have enough time to let it rest. So, it was really hard to work with. If I would have let it rest the fondant would have been much smoother. But overall I was happy with the rushed results. My friend loved her cake,so that's really all that mattered. I wasn't sure what design I was doing till the last minute. I knew I wanted something pink and girlie. So, this is what I came up with.

The cake looks cute my friend! The design is very whimsical. I love how you used different sizes of flowers -- it gave the cake a more natural look.

Thank you Rylan. The flowers where fun and so easy to make. I need to make another topsy turvy for more pratice. Love the look of the topsy turvy. But, oh what a mess it makes. Next one I want to make it more turvy. Thank you, your awesome!

I'm making a topsy turvy cake myself just with two layers and not three like you did, so I was wondering if I could to everything in buttercream and not in fondant or not, if you could tell me soon, I'm making my cake tomorrow!
