David Duke for Louisiana Governor--1991 runoff election

From 1991, here is a campaign ad from David Duke, former Grand Wizard of the KKK and state representative from Jefferson Parish, when he ran for governor of Louisiana as a Republican. The 1991 election was between Duke, former governor Edwin Edwards (Democrat who served from 1972-1980; 1984-1988), incumbent governor Buddy Roemer (Democrat-turned-Republican), the official GOP endorsed candidate, Clyde Holloway, among others. Deemed "the race from hell," the runoff (when this commercial aired) was between the two most controversial candidates--Edwards and Duke with Edwards, who spent most of his previous term as governor in court, winning the election.

NOTE: I have uploaded this commercial for historical/educational purposes only--not to make a political statement in favor of or against David Duke. This video is among many I have from Louisiana politics, and I decided to upload it among the others I have of local, state, and national candidates.
