Kevin: -Mumbles.- Hello?

Demi: I am so sorry. Did I wake you up?

Kevin: Who is this?

Demi: Its Demi.

Kevin: Oh, well, yeah, you did.

Demi: You sound tired.

Kevin: Its no big deal. So do you. Anyways, whats up?

Demi: Well, yeah, Im beat as well and cant get anymore sleep this morning. And it looks like Im driving home tonight. So, Im going to drink coffee all day.

Kevin chuckles a groggy and tired chuckle.

Demi: But, I have no clue how to work this coffee maker.

(AN: Bear with me because I have no idea how to work a coffee maker at all. So, I dont care if Im wrong!)

Kevin: Okay, do you see some sort of latch?

Demi: Yeah.

Kevin: Open it and there should be a place to put a filter.

Demi: Yes.

Kevin: Find a filter and the coffee mix you want.

Demi: Okay -She rummages around the kitchen then finds filters and some good looking coffee.- Got it.

Kevin: So, you wanna make a lot? So you can drink it all day to build your energy. So, read the directions on the coffee for a lot of it and put it in the filter and put that in the coffee maker and close the little door thingy.

Demi: Okay -Does as shes told.- Now what?

Kevin: You see the compartment above the filter thing?

Demi: Yeah?

Kevin: Make sure that is full of water.

Demi: Okay -She fills it with water.- Done.

Kevin: Now make sure there is a jug sort of thing to collect all the coffee below all that.

Demi: Yup.

Kevin: Press start and it should beep when its done. And you can just pour some and warm it up all day.

Demi: Great, thanks, Kev.

Kevin: No problem.

Demi: Congrats on your girlfriend. I cant wait to meet her.

Kevin: -Chuckles.- Thanks. How are my brothers?

Demi: Good. Joe is battling a terrible migraine right now but good.

Kevin: Every other month he gets a bad one.

Demi: Well, thats consistent.

Kevin: Its like his own form of PMS or whatever.

Demi: -Giggles.- Alright, Ill see you soon.

Kevin: Okay, bye.

Demi: Bye.

They hang up.

Demi waits impatiently for the coffee to finish. It finally does 10 minutes later.

She pours a cup and grabs her phone and goes back over to the boys house.

Nick was in the kitchen checking his blood sugar.

Nick: -Whines.- Demiiiiiiii!

He was in just his boxers.

Demi: You owe me for walking in on me and Joe yesterday with Miley.

Nick just looks at her.

Demi: What?

Nick: Is that coffee?

Demi: Yeah.

Nick: Why?

Demi: It looks like Im driving home tonight.

Nick: Is Joe being lazy?

Demi; No, hes just not feeling well.

Nick: Oh, whats up?

Demi: I dunno. He had a bad migraine yesterday and I guess its still going on.

Nick: Yeah, he gets those.

Demi: -Giggles.- Thats what Kevin said.

Nick: Theyre usually not too bad though.

Demi: Oh, well, Im gonna go up.

Nick: Okay, he brought a box of tea. Its around here somewhere if he wants it.

Demi: Kay. Thanks -She goes up the stairs and into Joes room.-

He was asleep so Demi just sat on the bed and put her cup of coffee on the bedside table and pulled out her phone.

She sighed when she realized she forgot to grab headphones for music.

She spotted Joes phone on the table along with his headphones.

She grabbed them and plugged them in.

Demi listened to music and drank her cup of coffee for about an hour.

She pulled out the headphones once she heard a grunting noise.

Demi turned to see Joes face buried in his pillow; he was angrily saying things into it.
