  • @artzphoenix- Great suggestion. Thanks!!

  • The label on that almond butter says "raw," but so do the almonds you buy in the store in the U.S. They are not TRULY raw and are heated to beyond what raw foodies consider raw. They can call them raw because they're not roasted. I called the company, and verified they are not TRULY raw.

But so cute, and my kids just love to see other kids making kid-friendly raw-food vids.

Thank you for taking the time to film.

  • Thank you for the clarification MaryKay. I have no clue where to get truly raw almond butter. I know it will take some online research.

If I can't find truly raw butter I will still use what I can get a hold of as I feel it is better than a big mac... :)

    Thanks again!!!

  • Hi, nice job! Just remember to check the almond butter ingredients,... most almond butters are made with "roasted" almonds :-))

  • Thanks for the reminder. We use Maranatha raw organic almond butter. The label says raw.

    Thanks again!

  • I'm going to get my kids to try that. Do you have any other ideas kids will love?

  • I'm so working on that right now. I have notice Steven is very simple just plain fruit. I try to keep fruit around grapes, bananas, kiwi, apples, etc. We'll post as we make new fun recipes.

  • So cute, I am glad you cut off the yuk-ko end of the banana. :)

  • Great! Very cute. More children should have this kind of diet, but don't look to the school system for any help!

  • Cutest.. thing.. ever..

  • Agave is still a refined sugar. It's a cute video, but for a healthy body, all sugars should come in the form they are found in nature -- fruit. Dried fruit is more than sweet enough for any raw dessert creation. Try putting dates and raw almonds and/or raw oats in the food processor and blending into a paste and then putting it down the spines of celery.

  • Adorable. But bad news. Maranatha isn't raw. They use pasturized almonds(boo to maranatha)

  • Thanks Steven, you rock!

  • Thanks Steven, you rock!

  • great vid :D

  • @sparklemichele : You can just make it yourself! If you have a Champion juicer, a Vitamix, or an Omega juicer, you have the ability to do it. You have to research online to find the almonds which are really raw.
