out of the cars that my friends and i have had, the hondas have been better than most
but, some of them were bought used, so we don't know what they've been through.
but my '91 civic was better than most of my friends' first cars (some mazdas and lots of fords), it only had 91 HP, but since it was only 2137 lbs and a manual it was faster than most, and the steering was really good. it was also safer than a lot of the other old cars
and i got over 30 mpg driving pretty stupidly in it

Engine is a bpt gtx engine from a JDM 323 gtx. Not so stock...t3 turbo, megasquirt engine management, fmic...etc...
