What exactly would you have to do internally to get an echo 1 m4 in shape to run a 11.1 lipo?

@xxamadeus84xx good quality mosfet, good wiring, new piston, piston head, make sure you have solid metal bushings, and a perfect shim job. also make sure your air seal is good. if the gun jams at that rof it could easily strip the piston.

Is it true that with a lipo it'll stop your gun from "stalling"? I use a 9.6v in my echo1 scar and every 300 or so shots it stalls and I have to put it on full auto and reset the gears and go back to semi. I ran my friends 7.4 lipo and my gun was a dream to handle. Is that true or just coincidence it happened to me? Thanks!

@Kratos9900 because of the extra voltage it is less likely, but you would not be using an 11.1v lipo on your echo 1 scar. those cannot take lipo abuse. and your gun should not be stopping for any reason. have a tech shim and tune it.

@Kratos9900 pretty sure I know what your talking about, im not really a tech but it could be just from the low voltage, this sometimes happens to me when i run a back up 8.4 or 9.6. turn your gun to semi auto and try to fire as fast as you can, it will probably stop like most guns do, and you'll have to switch over to full auto to get it back shooting. this really isnt a matter of lipo or not more like a low voltage problem. not really a problem with the gun. anyone correct me if im wrong.

@ECHO7AIRSOFT The wiring of the KWA KM4 series is NOT gold plated in any of the units I have opened, it is absolutely horrible quality, the motor is pathetic at best, the piston itsself isn't bad - the PH is a disaster though, and the bearings are junk.

In the end, KWA has a great marketing department, better than most.

@DisguisedAirsofter the wiring of the KWA KM4 series are gold plated, they aren't sub-par, the motor isnt weak, but it doesnt have a long life. the piston isn't that heavy, its about the same as a JG piston. the connector can be a pain in the ass to change to deans. but in the end, KWA is a great airsoft company, better than most.

My VFC m4 runs on an 11.1v lipo every time i use it. it has had about 10-12k rounds put though it using an 11.1v lipo. i have stock internals except for a tight bore barrel. runs at 30rps without a mosfet. I have yet to break anything. (im not saying it wont break, im just saying its incredibly durable and wont break for a while).

Honestly, rather than spending a good $300-$400 on a kwa. you can just get any cheap cyma or jg version 3 gun and spend an extra $60 in parts and make a gun 10x better than a KWA

(airnozzle, piston, pistonhead, ball bearing spring guide, and better wiring.)

Ive turned an echo1 g36c into a 14.8v lipo ready gun with $70 of parts
