@wrenberney thanks for answering so quickly! Yes, I'm struggling a little bit with kanji at the moment trying 2 understand the different meanings and uses for "hon" and "go" (sry,don't know how 2 write in japanese on an english keyboard yet) in nihongo.
I'm just starting with the bases of japanese so I started with learning the meaning of japanese, japan, and how to write them in kanji then i'm going to move on to learn the katakana and hiragana so a "basics" video would be very useful and gr8!

@Ameliasadventure Yeah, sorry they don't look too good! It's mostly because I was trying to make sure the camera could see what I was doing, so I compromised my neatness haha

as you said, the stroke order is a bit off and that does affect a little bit on how the kanji turns out. Now I don't know if I can tell you anything because I've just started to learn japanese on my own so you're probably WAY better than me :) Planning on making any more japanese related vids?
