@FrontAlleyBoys doesn't really surprise me actually. I hear the same thing happened to Sam Rami and Spiderman 3, where the studio pretty much took away all creative control and said "no, you make THIS movie or no movie." Can you imagine what could have been? Sad really. It's not about making good entertainment anymore, it's all about making a quick buck :(

@bobdy9988 No problem. I don't blame you tho, David Arnold (Stargate and Independence Day) and James Horner (Troy) tend to sound similar sometimes and have a similar composing style. Both are very bombastic and energetic when it comes to scoring action scenes for one thing.

@bobdy9988 Don't think so, but you can find the Stargate movie theme in a bunch of movie trailers over the years. None come to mind atm, but that could be why it sounds familiar to you.
