Awesome. Great info.

just be really careful not to bend your seer spring. can get dangerous if you do.

Nice!!!!....And yes I do think you're crazy....but its nice to see someone completely disassemble a 1911 without any tools. I'd just be mindful how you push out the main housing pin with your safety pin...you could possible foul them up....

I wouldn't do this unless I had to, but it's good to know I could if I had to.

Dude, this vid is awesome. Nicely done. Also enjoyed seeing someone actually safety-checking a loaded firearm for change. There's gotta be thousands of gun vids on youtube and yours is the first I've seen start loaded. Classic.

Love the nonchalant way parts and pieces are strewn about the table. Good stuff. I got some god damn Allen bolts holding my grips on:(

@kingofyo1 Go to the website I posted, go to the 1911 library. Then scroll down to reliability secrets by John Marshall. There's some great tips to make your 1911 work flawlessly. Extractor tuning is part of it.

I think you'll like this bro. Go to sightm1911 . com scroll to the sight m1911a1 library. Click on technical on the top left center of the page. Then click on the link that says "The 1911 is its own toolbox." Tells how to pretty much do what you did, but tells how to take apart the mainspring housing components. The website in general has everything you need to know about the 1911.

That was just plain awesome! As for a round in the chamber, it's a real gun that uses real bullets. He proved that he is capable of unloading it on camera and then completely disassembles his 1911 without additional tools. What more do you safety sallies want from him.

Not sure what you mean by dumb ass. All guns are loaded! I hate all the safety qweens that clear empty guns! All my guns are loaded so why not clear it in the vid? Thanks for watching.

Other than being clumsy at the beginning with a chambered round you did very well, Now do a video on assembly and not in record breaking time but take your time and be informative to benefit other people out there with their 1911's. Thanks for your help for all out there that needed it. You are a true giver and not a taker for doing it for free and trying to be so helpful to the people...
