Very first test drive. Test of shifts & lockup. Test of kickdown. Display bugs after test of kickdown probably because of EMI from controller relays and kickback spikes from transmission solenoids.
Future improvements: Resolution improvement of speed measurement = enables nicer hysteresis of shifts. Lockup disable when coolant too cold & brake applied. Interpolation of shift points depending on engine load.
Atmega168 microcontroller. Developed in Cvavr. Aisin A340e transmission. (from Toyota Supra mk3)
Explanation of display:
Speed, Gear, lockup.. pretty self explanatory
Kdwn=kickdown, CA=Gear change allowed, Lag=Lowest allowed gear, MAPchg=Change in manifold pressure, Map=Manifold pressure, Clt=Coolant temperature (not connected in video)
Well Done! Been thinking of building one for a while!

Nice to see... i'm also planning to do same for F4A22 on 4G63 after my current TCU toasted for good (seems like water damage from AC leak). Hope I can do it right :)

I too am interested in any schematics or code - this is just what those of us with the A340E want! :)
